ART promotes the field of work shared by technologists, engineers, scientists and other members of the multi-professional team working within Renal Technology.
We should recognise and honour the pioneers who paved the way for usβthe founding members of the association, the trailblazers who dared to dream, and the mentors who have guided and inspired us. Their legacy lives on in the work we do each day.
The next chapter of our journey holds the promise of even greater advancements, new discoveries, and transformative breakthroughs. As we continue to innovate and let us remain steadfast in our commitment to excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care.
Reflecting on our renal journey, it is evident that the achievements have been nothing short of extraordinary. We have seen groundbreaking advancements in dialysis technology, the development of innovative diagnostic tools, and the implementation of cutting-edge treatments.
Fifty years ago, a group of visionaries came together with a shared purposeβto improve the quality of life for individuals with renal failure through advanced technology and expert care. They laid the foundation for an association that would grow to become a pillar of excellence.
This year marks the 47th conference for ART and thanks to members past and present that ART continues to go from strength to strength, long may this continue. This year also sees us celebrate a momentous milestoneβthe 50th anniversary of the Association of Renal Technologists.
