आज दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के पास @official_dda के उत्तरी रिज स्थित बोंटा पार्क में मॉर्निंग वॉक के दौरान, दिल्लीवासियों से मिलने और बातचीत करने का एक अच्छा अवसर मिला।

पार्क में लोगों को एक्सरसाइज करते, दौड़ लगाते और परिवारों को हरियाली के बीच समय बिताते देखकर बहुत अच्छा लगा। यह देखकर खुशी हुई कि दिल्ली के लोग अपने स्वास्थ्य और फिटनेस को लेकर कितने जागरूक हैं।

इस दौरान स्थानीय लोगों ने बातचीत के दौरान पार्क की सुविधाओं को और बेहतर बनाने के के सुझाव और विचारों भी साझा किए। मेरा मानना है कि लोगों के सुझाव हमारे सार्वजनिक स्थलों और दिल्ली को बेहतर बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।

हम दिल्ली के इन हरे-भरे क्षेत्रों को सुरक्षित रखने और उन्हें और बेहतर बनाने के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध हैं। हमारा प्रयास है कि सभी पार्क और सार्वजनिक स्थान सभी लोगों के लिए साफ, सुंदर और सुविधाजनक बने रहें।

An Indian Armed Forces delegation, led by Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh, GOC-in-C @westerncomd_IA and the seniormost serving Special Forces Officer of the Indian Armed Forces, participated in #SOFWeek2026 held at Tampa, Florida, from 18-21 May 2026. The event brought together Special Operations Forces, defence leaders and industry partners from over 70 nations.

In a landmark first, the Indian Army participated in the prestigious CAPEX Capability Demonstration at Tampa, showcasing the professionalism and operational excellence of Indian Special Forces in counter-terrorism, unconventional warfare, high-altitude and jungle warfare operations. India’s participation at #SOFWeek2026 reflects the deepening India–US defence partnership and the expanding global footprint of the Indian Armed Forces.

The Customs Officers at IGI Airport, New Delhi, intercepted two Thailand national passengers arriving from Bangkok by flight no. AI-2356 dated 22.05.2026 after they crossed the Customs Green Channel.

Acting on specific profiling inputs and suspicious travel indicators, Customs officers subjected the baggage of both passengers to detailed examination.

Subsequently, a thorough physical examination of the baggage was conducted, which resulted in the recovery of six (06) vacuum-sealed packets suspected to contain Hydroponic Weed (Ganja). Out of the total recovery, four packets weighing approximately 29 kilograms were recovered from the baggage of one passenger, while two packets weighing approximately 19 kilograms were recovered from the baggage of the second passenger. The total quantity of the suspected narcotic substance recovered in the case was approximately 47.805 kilograms(Net weight). The market value of the recoverd NDPS substance is approx 48 Cr.

This is one of the highest seizures in recent times at IGI airport, Delhi.

The #COAS also inaugurated the associated technology exhibition and unveiled the book ‘Maratha Sena Vyavastha (Shivaji to the Third Battle of Panipat)’ authored by Dr Virendra Singh Baghel. The seminar brought together policymakers, diplomats, defence leaders, industry captains and strategic experts to deliberate on leveraging military, diplomatic, economic and technological instruments of national power to foster long-term national security and growth.
