It is disappointing Anthony Albanese and his MPs laughed during my question about the impact of their higher taxes on families caring for people with disabilities.

I've always wondered how Albo's mum on a disability pension living in a housing commission flat could afford to go on a cruise and how she could afford his fees to St Mary's Cathedral College in Sydney - today $4,700 to $8,000.
Or did his father pay? And why does he never mention him?

@RacenetTweets We at Associated Bloodstock strongly support this move and look forward to racing under the MFR banner . Thank you to
Lee , Jo and all the staff for your outstanding service over the past few years and we are sure that our success will continue under the new arrangement .
21 horses that were bred to race [not at a sale of any type] and another 6 horses sold under $100k were winners in 27 of the 41 races [66%] at the Sat metro meetings.
Here is the breakdown of all winners - sold at “yearling sales”:
6 winners - under $100k
5 winners - $101k to $249k
2 winners - $250k to $349k
0 winners - over $350k
♦️Other notes:
Only 13 of 41 winners [31%] were sold at a Yearling sale, its typically around 45% of all Saturday winners.
◻️2 winners came via the new data set added last week [Weanling, Ready to Race, or 2yo sales]
◻️1 winner came from another data set added last week [WD or PI at a yearling sale].
◻️4 winners were international imports [other than NZ]
21 winners [51%] were “bred to race” or not entered into any commercial sales, a higher than normal “Saturday percentage” - typically around 40% on the main race day of the week.
Have added the [FF] or Female family runners again - you can see a wider spread of family numbers winning this week, however the highlighted cluster of FF 1-2-4-8-9-16 won half of the races again [20 of the 41 races].
Last week it was FF 4 that won most rces, however FF 16 dominated on Saturday with 6 winners.

Magic Million Yearling Sale 2022 - now 4yo
Data Set 1 of 4 posts
▪️current 4yo age - The “highest priced” yearlings.
♦️yearlings sold for over $800,000+
This sale had 38 yearlings sold at the high end for $800k+
◽️a positive 35 [92%] of these highest priced [now 4yo’s] made it onto the track.
❌ only 1 horse - SCHWARZ, has earned more prize money than his sales cost.
❌ 6 of the 35 [17%] runners, have not won a race, deep into their 4yo year.
❌ 12 of the 35 [34%], have only won 1 race
🕳️ so 18 of these highest priced 38 yearlings [a;most 50%] have won 1 race or less. This is after rigorous inspections by the experts that shape the breeding industry.
Inglis Syd CLASSIC 2021 - now 5yo
Data Set 3 of 4 posts
▪️current 5yo age - The “highest priced” yearlings.
♦️yearlings sold for over $300,000+
This sale had only 27 yearlings sold for $250k+ [lower base price sale]
◽️26 of them [96%] of these highest priced graduates [now 5yo] have made it onto the track.
◻️Fairly low number - 5 of the 26 [19%] have earned more prize money then their sales cost
❌ 6 of the 26 [23%] runners, have not won a race, deep into their 5yo year.
❌ another 6 of the 26 [23%], have only won 1 race
🕳️ so almost 50% of the highest priced [now 5yo’s] from this sales draft have not won more than 1 race….. C’mon, what is happening from a racing perspective on these top priced yearlings - their race records leave you “gobsmacked”.
Syd CLASSIC Yearling Sale 2023
Data Set 3 of 4 posts
▪️current 3yo age - The “highest priced” yearlings.
♦️yearlings sold for over $250,000+ [lower price base]
“This is not pleasant reading”
❌ I cannot recall seeing data like this….
This sale had 35 yearlings sold for $250k+
🚫Very disappointing that “nil” [0 of 35] of this supposed best bracket have “not” earned more prize money then their sale price - considering they have been of racing age for almost 18 months.
◻️Also poor that 9 of the 35 [25%] have not made it to the races, this late in their 3yo year
◻️Disappointing that 13 or the 26 [50%] to have raced…. Have not won a race yet !
