Well-endowed highly exclusionary universities asking job candidates to submit DEI statements rather than transferring material resources to the educational institutions that serve large underprivileged populations is pretty comical.

the one rule of reporting i've learned is that if a subject sounds really dry or nuanced or boring just call up three people who have made that subject area the focus of their professional lives and listen to everything they say and 95% of the time you come away like HOLY SHIT
@profmusgrave Our students need x number of clinical hours to graduate and they enroll in practicum to go out into the community and get those hours with supervisors out in the community. They don't meet as a class or anything and the listed instructors don't teach/get to count it as teaching

All female student athletes were ~asked~ to come to the game to recognize 50 years of Title IX. We were on the field for maybe 15 seconds then screamed at to get off. If you want to honor female student athletes, then do that, not this.
