My dad lay on the bed, then said "so tired...think im gonna sick", then i said "cause this week you had so many long trips". He nodded.
And i asked, "but really, why do you have to travel far away? Is it you or your team that decided it?"
"No..its good. And i really like it."
The dad explained this week he met really old man in the remote area, took 4 hours car trip (and the road is really bad for almost 80 yo grandpa)
Then old man said "In my nearly 100 years of life, not once has a official visited this area." And dad smiling while told me this.
Kalo mau liat unconditional love jangan di sosmed apalagi di film. Liat di RS. Husband-wife, father-daughter, mother-son, bahkan kakek/nenek- cucu. Semuanya terlihat devoted, ya walopun ada yg sambil dimarahin (maksudnya perhatian)...
Since young, I was taught—without words—to be moderate in everything. Now realized this has made me passive. Eat moderately, talk less, and suppress my emotions, 'you are what you think.' Feel so sorry for both my younger self and who I am now.
Ultimate extrovert : mas2 lg ngopi, ngajak ngobrol (with his loudest yet ramah's voice) emak2 bawa anak 1, and the issues is he's comparing how our country and negeri tetangga handling the recent so called n4turAL disaster 🥲
Mothering is balancing your expectation but you still trying your best.
Contoh : anakmu mau makan, kamu masak yg terbaik, tp dia ga habisin ya udh kita coba lg next time, no need to be pusing (walopun pusing)
