21st Ord Sun | It is the Master who knows the true worth of His masterpiece. Humans see only what is external, what is unrefined and imperfect, but God sees the true beauty of His Church.
Assumption | The Assumption gives us a glimpse into our future: God does not allow His beloved to remain far distant, but desires to spend eternity with us. If we are to become like Christ, Mary points the way!
19th Ord Sun | Storms in life are inevitable, and they often come at the most unexpected hour. Yet we need not fear. God does not meet us only after the storm has subsided, but right in the midst of it. And when our faith fails us, the Lord is already close at hand. 🙏
18th Ord Sun | The miraculous feeding reveals not the generosity of man, but the generosity of God. Christ is the Bread who alone satisfies the deepest hunger of every heart. Having received Him, we are now sent to become Christ for others.
17th Ord Sun | Is there anything in this world that can compare with finding God? Nothing. The one who has found God has discovered the greatest treasure of all. More precious than all the gold and riches of this world, nothing else even comes close.
16th Ord Sun | There is never a better time for repentance than now, for the Lord graciously gives us time to return to Him. Judgement will come, but in Christ, we need not be afraid, for we place all our hope in His mercy.
15th Old Sun - If God is the Sower and we are the soil, then His word is the seed that matters most. If we leave our hearts untended, thorns will choke His word, and our lives will become a contradiction rather than a witness to His Kingdom.
14th Ord Sun - We are blessed to receive the Father’s favour because, in the Son, we too are His children. He loves us not because we are wise or worthy, but simply because His love is gratuitous. This love does not begin with what we do, but with who God is, and has always been.
13th Ord Sun - The Lord does not ask whether our cross is light or heavy, but whether we are willing to bear what He entrusts to us. Take heart, for even the smallest act of goodness will not go unnoticed by God.
12th Ord Sun - When we commit ourselves to the Lord’s mission, we need not be anxious or fearful about what others may think or do. The Lord provides all that we need. We are called simply to trust Him and remain focused on the work He sends us to accomplish.
11th Ord Sun - The mission to which we are sent is not without challenges, but it is also filled with opportunities to bear witness to the Lord. The world needs to hear this message: God’s Kingdom is already here.
Corpus Christi – We become what we receive. As Christ gives Himself completely to us in the Eucharist, we too are called to give ourselves totally to God and to one another.
Most Holy Trinity – The mystery of the Trinity reminds us that God is not distant or isolated. He entered our history in the flesh and remains with us to this day. Never before has God been so close to humanity.
Pentecost – At Babel, language became a source of confusion and division; at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit unites us once more as children of God in the language of love. He heals what sin has wounded, restores communion, and draws us together as one family in Christ.
7th Sun Easter – Anticipation has a way of stretching the heart. We wait, we wonder, we hope for what is still to come. Between the Ascension and Pentecost, the Church stands in that very space: waiting not with anxiety, but with trust. God is preparing to renew all things.
Ascension – The Ascension is not Christ leaving us, but the Lord leading us toward heaven. It reminds us that heaven is no longer beyond our reach, for Christ has gone before us and continues to lead us home.
6th Sun Easter – Love transcends feelings and thoughts; it must be lived in action. To love and believe in God, then, is to keep His commandments. It can be challenging, but God never leaves us alone, for He always gives us grace to persevere.
5th Sun Easter – Many are searching for meaning in life, yet few truly find it. Perhaps the reason is simple: we are looking in the wrong place. The way that leads to truth and life begins not with us, but with God.
4th Sun Easter – The Shepherd calls His sheep, and the sheep recognise His voice. He leads them through the gate, drawing them away from all that steals, kills, and destroys. In Him, they find safety and the fullness of life He came to give.
3rd Sun Easter – The risen Lord walks beside us, especially in life’s trials and when things are hard to understand. In the Eucharist, we find the fulfilment of His promise: “I am with you always, until the end of the age.”
