With the rise of Gen-AI lately, I wanted to create this for Vtubers, Streamers, and content creators on a low budget! To show that there ARE other options!!

🌸How I got to YT Partner in 6 Months🌸

I'm going to list this down as simply as I can so here we go!

🌸I chose a specific niche: Peer to peer education.
Sharing what worked for me and sharing my journey from 0 to now.

🌸I made long form scripted videos about my experience and thoughts.
My first long form was posted on April 3rd 2026.
How these videos did;
1.Small Vtuber growth in 2026 ▸ 12,473 views / 968 hours of watch time.
2. Stop Waiting for brand deals ▸ 4,157 views / 336 hours.
3. SCP React ▸ 418 views / 18 hours.
4. How I make money as a streamer ▸ 44,999 views / 2000 hours.
5. Stop Only Streaming ▸2,917 views / 140.1 hours .
6. Male vtubers are failing for this reason ▸ 4,578 views / 251.2 hours.

I also streams a total of 43 times which completed my 4000 hours needed!

🌸I posted 3 shorts a week starting in April of 2026.
While these did not count towards my watch time they REALLY helped with growing my subscriber numbers!
I had very few HITS but I got a consistant amount of subs every single short.
I posted educational content, story time, pokemon card openings, horror game reviews and my bird chi.
But towards the end I was posting educational, story time about my bird and I and horror commentary.
So basically I niched down a bit more.

🌸Who was editing?
I edited all but 2 of my long forms. Simple edits did the job!
I edited 60% of my shorts, I only recently hired and editor in July of 2026.

🌸So the conclusion is...
I started focusing on Youtube in April of 2026 and got partner on August 19th of 2026.
So not exactly 6 months... but I think this proves you can absolutely get it!
I was lucky, 1 of my videos did a LOT of heavy lifting, but my manager and I had planned for 1 to 2 long forms a month and hit partner by the end of the year. But thankfully we hit it quicker.

So DO NOT GIVE UP!
Find your content strategy (Your niche, What you will be covering, posting cadence) and grind those hours if that's what you want to do!
and...ideally, find an editor for long forms instead of bitting your lip and pushing through like I did... X,D

Cozy growth is was I'm doing to grow online without burning out.
If you have kids or a full time job, I see you, its unrealistic to post every day sometimes 3 times a day!
This is my experience of course but I hope this can help you feel less alone and hopeful that you can do it!
