Big Announcement time!
On Feb 10th, I'll hit a 500 day streak on @4thewords! I wanted to celebrate it, so since I saw this morning that I'm now a #4twpartner, I'm going to do a modded marathon stream! Details are below, and I look forward to seeing any fellow #dustwarriors then!
I... pretty much don't use this place anymore.
I do still have a social media tho, so like - I'm cosmicspino on tumblr if anyone wants to follow my shenanigans. It's the only place I'm using right now other than discord.
solidarity to the writers’ strike
solidarity to the actors’ strike
solidarity to artists fighting ai ‘art’
solidarity to authors fighting ai ‘writing’
solidarity to creatives, independents, working class, unions and all struggling to share and live off their art💗
I know it's been a hot second but gimme a bit to make up my morning gfuel and grab some noms and y'alls favorite guinea pig will be right back with a stream!
Happy disability pride month!!
Friendly reminder that being disabled doesn't make someone lesser. We're human too! Invisible disabilities are valid. You can't look at someone and know whether they're disabled or not. All disabled people deserve to be accommodated. It's a right!
Guess who is streaming! We've got all kinds of updates now, a chatbot with commands and even streamloots - there's still a chance I may move to youtube but I missed streaming so here I am!

I don't say it lightly but I think this is a legitimate situation where streamers should consider boycotting Twitch or moving to other platforms
Making common and harmless forms of advertisement literally against ToS so Twitch can monopolize more of streamers income
I planned to stream today, to go along with my announcement that SiN is finally coming off of hiatus, but in the wake of what's going on with Twitch's ToS right now, I'm not comfortable streaming until this mess shakes out.
With that said, if this policy does go forward -
Hi. I'm seeing a lot of "lazy" thrown around when talking about AI and the ppl who use it.
Please remember how ableist that word is. Please consider the people in your audience who have been abused and bullied with that word.
You're creative enough to avoid ableism, I'm sure.
There are no movies, no shows, no miniseries, no runaway streaming hits, no franchises, without writers. Your favorite stories were built first on the page. Stand with the WGA. Stand with writers.
PSA: The WGA strike may mean that novelists & authors get approached for screenwriting. While this may seem like a perfect opportunity, please note that the WGA does strongly enforces its right to prevent non-members who have engaged in scabbing from ever becoming members.
@DiannaLGunn Fair! I get nervous with booktwit events sometimes, because I've encountered a fair few who have gotten mad at me in the past for trying to participate because 'web-serials don't count', so I figured I'd ask first! ^^;
Thank you for answering! ^^
It's my birthday! \o/
I'm still trying to fundraise for a keyboard that will drastically reduce my daily pain and let me exist online again. So here -

And just because - for every coffee that gets bought today, a new snippet will be released on kofi!
I don't like to get political on this twitter; but please read.
The Restrict Act being proposed in the US right now is more than just a "TikTok Ban". This bill features servere egregious violations to our right to privacy and freedom of speech. If this bill passes it will change the face of the internet forever.
If it's found out that you're using a VPN to access TikTok, you can be fined UP TO $250,000.
On top of all of this, if you use a networked device that a million people also use, the US government will be able to access it any time they want without notifying you. This means your Ring camera for your door, any indoor security devices with a million users, and so, so much more.
Contact your local representitives and ask them about their stance on the Restrict Act. Tell them you expect them to be unsupportive of the bill, and any attempt to pass this absurd legislation will result in your vote going to their opponent. Ask them if they're for or against our Constitution and the rights to privacy and freedom of speech it grants us that this bill would be in direct violation of.
There are 150 MILLION TikTok users in the US, but there are even more that just use the internet, and this affects ALL OF US; regardless of your political affiliation.
Think about it this way:
The US governement will have access to your email, browsing history, personal messages, and posts. This will make it so much easier to hunt down people that ignore government censorship, and puts you in direct danger for speaking out about things like Trans rights, child labor laws, etc.
We're all in danger if this passes.
And yes I got Twitter Blue just to make this post.
