I was raised in a Royal Navy family. I am the son of a decorated Falklands war hero and the brother of a decorated Afghanistan war hero - both deceased.  I have worked internationally, built and sold two successful headhunting firms, directly employed hundreds of people and have contributed to the successful hiring of thousands of senior executives.

I have voted Tory all my life, but joined @Reform_UK early this year and encourage others to do the same. Why? Immigration, Net Zero, Taxes, Defence....the list goes on.

Immigration - Uncontrolled immigration is ruining our country. Costing circa £8m a day to house illegal immigrants. Resulting in too much pressure on public services and housing. These people are not vetted, they arrive in their hundreds every day. Reform will leave the ECHR, which will enable us to control immigration.

Net Zero will bankrupt the country. Estimates of between two and three thousand billion £ (yes, two to three trillion £) to decarbonise and essentially export this energy production overseas. Too expensive and doesn't make sense. Reform will scrap Net Zero.

Tax - Reform will simplify the tax system, taking 6m people out of it altogether. An incentive to work. Scrap VAT on energy bills. Abolish IR35. Reduce government spending.

Defence - Invest in the Armed Forces. New Armed forces justice bill. Eventually raise spending to 3% of GDP.

Only Reform will stand up for British culture, identity and values.
