i think ‘circles’ make perfect sense; it symbolize a complete cycle, much like an ♾️ symbol, which also signifies continuity. so it's 'circles' with an 's' bcos when you rotate an 8 by 90 degrees, it forms an ♾️ symbol, consisting of two circles, hence the plural term
