God, I’m tired of carrying this pain. If love keeps hurting this much, I don’t want it anymore. I just want peace, a calm heart, and a reason to smile again.
Some of the worst people are the ones who hurt you, never apologise and then act like nothing happened. They expect time to erase what they refuse to take accountability for. A genuine apology isn’t about pride, it’s about acknowledging the hurt you caused. If someone can’t take responsibility for their actions, you’re better off protecting your peace than waiting for an apology they may never give.
The deepest betrayal is not being hurt. It’s being hurt by someone who knew you were already hurting. They knew what you were going through. They knew how fragile you were. They knew you were barely holding yourself together, and still chose to add to your pain. That changes something inside you. Because cruelty is one thing when someone doesn’t know. But when they know and do it anyway, you stop questioning their intentions and start accepting their character.
God is really my friend. My guy, for real. I go to bed wondering how I’ll make it through tomorrow, and somehow He lets me rest, wakes me to the beauty of a new day, and carries me through it too. Life feels worth living again. He really hears me.
