To anyone worried about the lack of omnis on the list: Don't be!
You have to trust the process. This is theater; we're not in the third act just yet! Konami doesn't want to show their full hand until tomorrow, so they're keeping us on the edge of our seats!
Hi! Yes, it's me!
I do have something to say though: I'm not gonna try to be a squeaky clean opinion avoider this time around! I'm going to be actually saying things with confidence!
Okay, I already announced my graduation earlier, but I figured I’d share my new persona, if anyone is interested!
My new account is @AstraeaAurelia, and I’m gonna start and continue making Yugioh and other content there!
This is correct! Pile shuffling very neatly and cleanly distributes the cards in your deck better than any other form of shuffling to minimize the possibility of similar resources being clumped together
Especially important for decks that stack similar resource in your discard pile or when shuffling up a deck for the first time
It's kinda silly that we even have to riffle or mash shuffle anymore when we know what the optimal form of shuffling is to maximize even distribution of cards
Honestly, I kinda love that bit about the second effect printed on the card? Because legitimately that does actually happen all the time these days in Yu-Gi-Oh!
This is just what it feels like to a person whose never played modern day YGO.
Also all the random card game references and terms are just so funny to me.
@Lina_Hoshino Ahh, that's fair! I'm just happy that the iPhone tracking does exist, to be honest! Also pretty pleased to have learned something new about Vtubing tech!
@N0V1_VT Yeah… I was somewhat familiar with the landscape of small Vtubers from a while ago? But this sudden explosion of bots seems to be pretty out of nowhere.
Okay, gonna get my opinion on the 34 card banlist out there somewhere: I think it's gonna be good but it's not gonna solve everything. There are actually a lot of things that will change the game, but there are some things that might not end up going over particularly well.
I mean, it’s not the easiest to find 34 cards that make things completely different. I do think people need to chill on all the floodgates guesses though; I think realistically what’s going to happen is Konami will ban cards that are relevant to the format experience like Droll.
Konami announces 34 bans and all of yugioh twitter is challenging each other how many cards they can ban without changing the format/playing experience a single bit.
If 34 cards act boils down to 33 floodgates nobody plays and crystal wing, I'm gonna be so disappointed
