It was recorded in September 1970 except for the last track, a cover of Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen", which is a recording from the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival.

Frank Zappa - Hot Rats - 1969
Five of the six songs are instrumental, while "Willie the Pimp" features vocals by Captain Beefheart. Zappa dedicated the album to his newborn son, Dweezil.
Camel released their second album ‘Mirage’ (1974) on the Decca label. It features ‘Nimrodel / Procession / White Rider’ (based on Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings) and the epic 12 minute Lady Fantasy. Camel really hit their stride here. Majestic.
