@the_reece_lee@Grant37Lee@BBCSheffield I think the point is it's not clear, especially given it's a show that is going to attract children, it's very simply solved by not hiding it in the t&c s and putting it clearly on the ticket. That's all I have been saying.
@trufhunter@BBCOne@GladiatorsTV@Ofcom Thousands queuing and turned away,, kids turned away! absolutely disgusting by the BBC, why oversell a show by thousands that's aimed at families with children? our son has been so excited and is devastated now. Nothing on the face of the ticket about you might get gain entry.
@the_reece_lee@Grant37Lee@BBCSheffield That's not the FACE of the ticket, it's the t&C's on page 2 in small print, the email that comes with it tells you you have been allocated tickets.
You have now successfully received tickets to Gladiators taking place on Thursday 1st June 2023 at 13:00
@david_plant@RichardChadwick@SheffieldArena@ApplauseStoreUK I agree but still thinks its poor having it in small text at the bottom, thats on page 2 then which I didn't print out because I thought I had been sent a ticket, which is what the actual email implies. Not an invitation to queue up for tickets which it seems to have been.
@spandrew01709@trufhunter@BBCOne@GladiatorsTV@Ofcom So we should ignore the text of the actual email and read the pages or t&C's ?
You have now successfully received tickets to Gladiators taking place on
On behalf of all of us here, we hope you have a fantastic time
We hope you have a great time and we look forward to seeing you
@david_plant@RichardChadwick@SheffieldArena@ApplauseStoreUK I've just dug up the email and it doesn't say that on mine. It's says you have successfully received tickets and hope you have a wonderful time.
There is simply a reference to ensure you read the terms and conditions in which I guess it is buried!
@Grant37Lee@BBCSheffield And nothing on the face of the ticket to warn you, this is a show for families, crying kids turned away, all those thousands of parents aren't idiots ,
