So I'm wondering: what're your thoughts about the term "Supermoon"? How the media likes to throw it around as if it's something special etc? Thoughts, feelings, etc all welcome in the comments - doing some research!
Cheers all

The Tadpoles Nebula!
Recently I imaged this with a new Sightron Quad NB filter, the ZWO585mc and my Evostar 80ED.
Needless to say: I love this!

Recently I was able to spend a couple of nights imaging a smaller nebula within the Auriga constellation

That's right, I just filled a hole in my Photoshop tutorials I noticed, and reducing star sizes is an excellent way to add a huge pop to your image!

Happy 2025 all, hope your new orbit goes well! What seems to be a trend of mine is the Flaming Star Nebula. It's an important nebula to me and I liked how this one turned out!

@Roman07762405@FLO_UK@zwoastro Fantastic image there Roman. That little Astromik clip in filter has such a good reputation and does good work. Loving the way you orientated this one! Have a great 2025.

ICYMI, the ZWO CAA has been announced and is even available for pre-order. I'll try to get my hands on one for review.
But in this article I go over the broad-strokes of what the CAA is all about and how it can benefit you

@JonnyBravo0311 Looks really good mate. I saw that you put your work flow on the video comments so I'll have a good read through those. Mostly how you got those nice colours in the galaxy. Nice work
@Coffeedaveoz I do have the Canon 50mm f/1.8, and also the 75-300mm which is a bit naff. I'd like to get a longer decent lens like a 135mm f/2 or the Canon 200/300mm f/4 L lens but I can't afford them at the moment. This will just be for wider nightscape at the moment
@Coffeedaveoz Cheers mate. That's a Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM. One thing I like is how it's designed for an APS-C camera so helps keep it sharper
@bbroastro Ain't much better in the east midlands mate. 7 days of solid thunderstorms and rain forecasted for my area. Not seen weather like this for a while
