LaMelo Ball (Leo) to Timberwolves

Synergy Grade: B+

LaMelo connects naturally well with Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels. The fit was even stronger with Julius Randle or Naz Reid at power forward, but without them, the synergy drops to more average levels.

This is still a strong fit for the Timberwolves. Since both LaMelo and Edwards are Leos, they’ll need a little time to settle into a shared comfort zone and truly unlock their potential based on the players around them. They are falling more to a team similar to the Houston Rockets of last season. Strong trio of Edwards, Ball, McDaniels but lacking that enabling energy.
