Attended 20 science talks all weekend. Heard researchers use the expression "holy grail" at least 4 times (describing everything from quantum gravity to gender equality in STEM fields). Who says science and faith can't speak each other's language? @AAAS_DoSER #sci4sem

Excellent session on Quantum Information surfaced practical applications of the fact that QM *is* the reality we live: "nature isn't classical, dammit!" (Feynman). Theologians better learn to deal with very different constructs for space & time. @AAAS_DoSER #sci4sem

Dr Fabiola Gianotti @CERN noted that scientists from warring nations often research peacefully together. Perhaps b/c they are pursuing truths beyond themselves. That's why "religious wars" generally have nothing to do with the true pursuits of religion. @AAAS_DoSER #sci4sem
