Damn this one is even more crazier than Apollo 12 and that Soyuz-2 that got hit launching at Plesetsk several years ago - the lightning strike actually clearly hit the ground here!

99.97% pure methane + LOX — true #methalox, not LNG in disguise.
Our first cryogenic ignition trial: successful.
Small. Short. The first of many.
Mission Blue Frost begins. ❄️🔥

The @DRDO_India has successfully conducted the maiden flight test of Long-Range Surface-to-Air Missile Kusha today from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.
Thought I'll give you guys a sneak peek. Here's a video of one of the short duration runs conducted by @dpropulse with its air-breathing rotating detonation prototype at a government facility during July 21-22, 2026. 5 kN burn with reduced air mass flow and reduced fuel flow as well. Aerospike nozzle integration proved. High-speed, High-definition content will also be released by and by.
With the Maestro. TRL-5 attained. Our air-breathing rotating detonation engine (with aerospike nozzle integrated) spit fire and how at a government test facility. 5 kN achieved even with reduced air mass flow. More soon.
We’ve come back to these views more times than we can count. 🚀
On 18th July, Vikram-1 lifted off the First Launch Pad at Sriharikota — and India became the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
Mission Aagaman is a grand success — and only the beginning.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket suffered a rare last-second abort after engine ignition at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, as it attempted to launch 24 Starlink satellites. This comes days after a similar post-ignition abort for the company's Starship rocket.
The first picture of lift-off, straight from the launchpad cameras. 🚀
T-0 — 12:05 PM IST, 18 July 2026. Vikram-1 lifted off from the First Launch Pad at Sriharikota.
India’s first private orbital rocket ignited its Stage 1 Kalam 1200 motor and climbed — the opening seconds of Mission Aagaman. #Vikram1

e200X PT-01 is here. 🚀
There is a definitive moment when an aerospace program shifts from sub-scale into a 2.2-ton full scale reality. For us, that moment is now.
This aircraft is the culmination of half a decade of uncompromising engineering. We didn't just jump straight into a full-scale build. We spent the last five years proving our architecture in the sky pushing our sub scale demonstrators like the ATVA in 2021 and the heavy-lift e50 in 2023 to the limit.
Across those platforms, we logged over 10,000 kilometre of real-world flight testing. 🧵 (1/2)
We’ll be watching this ignition on loop all day.
Kalam-1200 — Vikram-1's first stage, named for Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam — roaring to life and lifting Vikram-1 off the pad, on a flight that reached orbit.

Congratulations to team @SkyrootA 👏🏻🙌🏻
This milestone makes India the third country in the world to achieve private orbital launch capability, opening a new chapter for the nation’s commercial space industry.
History has been made. 🇮🇳
