In 722, the Kingdom of Asturias was the last Christian bastion on the Iberian Peninsula, holding barely 2% of its land. However, from that tiny remnant, Christian kingdoms reclaimed what is now Spain and Portugal over the next 770 years. #ChristIsKing
@aidannonx I’m not a Dinesh fan at all, but there’s a big difference between his daughter and say Usha Vance. Danielle is a Christian, was raised in the western tradition, and is white passing.
This kind of diversity shouldn’t be celebrated, but it isn’t the problem either.
The idea the US is normalizing attacks against civilians is terrifying in itself. The fact this war isn’t in American interests in the first place boggles the mind.
I have a hard time understanding how Robert Jeffress can tolerate Paula White at all. I guess Zionism and access to the president drives one to put up with crazy things.
Paula White, leader of the White House Faith Office, speaks about President Trump:
"You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused. It's a familiar pattern that our Lord and Savior showed us. You will be victorious in all you put your hand to because God is using you."
I’ve been inactive the past week since I’ve gotten much busier the past few days. I’m still enjoying Holy Week though and looking forward to whatever April has in store!
As someone with a chronic illness, assisted suicide is an often discussed option to provide rest to those who suffer.
But it MUST be rejected. This poor girl’s organs will be harvested for profit, and the demonic influence behind this practice (and abortion) will celebrate.
In 30 minutes, Spain will euthanize 25-year-old Noelia Castillo Ramos, who suffers from depression
She will be given drugs which will suffocate her to death.
Surgeons are standing by to harvest her organs.
Pray that her life is spared
Lord, have mercy
This is the culture of death
I have seen way too many posts on the subject of whether promiscuous female converts to the church should be treated the same chaste virgins, so here’s another one.
1. The church has a responsibility to show grace and forgiveness to those who profess Christ and are exhibiting a repentant heart.
2. The consequences for sin don’t disappear even with forgiveness. No one with a history of embezzlement is going to be allowed to manage the church finances. Similarly, those with a promiscuous past should not be immediately expect to be ideal marriage candidates.
3. Lifelong virgins should be able to have a preference for one another.
Are some of these conversions performative? Probably. But even those that aren’t cannot expect to immediately wind back the clock. Sanctification takes time.
@AmericanTimdog I agree, but Romans also tells us God’s law is evident through His invisible attributes in nature. I think that explains the rare semi-righteous living you find in non-Christian communities.
You’re correct, and it’s clear you’re not defending the consumption of pornography. Women also need to remember those smut books they read aren’t good either. Sin should always be condemned, but the women who start these conversations remind me of Matthew 7:3. Almost no one is saying pornography is good, so it comes off as a deflection or a defense of an even more severe sin.
@EvangelicalDW They have realized the Trump administration is their last chance to use the US military, so they’re looking to speed run all of their pet projects.
This is bittersweet news for me. I’ve posted about my enthusiasm for nuclear energy in the past, but I don’t want Microsoft anywhere near new plant development.
