Nah, it's obvious by how often she goes out of her way to comment on whatever he's doing that she's trying to compensate for how miserable she is.
Her inferiority complex is eating at her, and she wants to make herself feel better by lashing out. Cool. He gets it. Enough now.
𝑂𝑜ℎ. Ouch. His pride is shot. If Gracie thinks he's a caveman then surely it must be true. Ah, man, how will he ever recover?
She wishes his ego was as thin as her self-esteem. It's pathetic.
She's surprised he even understands what a rhetorical question is, considering how empty and hollow it is in that thick skull of his.
It is rhetorical, though. Because she already knows the answer. He IS always hitting something when she sees him.
—Give or take. "You know you could have killed me when we were up on that roof. You do realize that, right?"
Yeah, he's still not over that, and he likely won't be for a while; unless, of course, she 𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑑, which he wouldn't count on anyway.
That little smirk of hers tells him all he needs to know. Getting Gracie expelled hasn't changed a thing for the better, not even her smug demeanor.
She's just as insufferable as ever, perhaps even more so now that she's had a taste of defeat. This is just 𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡. "Oh,—
It was wishful thinking to hope for at least five fucking minutes without Jimmy being on her ass, but word spreads fast in this school. Even when she doesn't want it to.
Her demeanor went through a few changes in the matter of seconds. Irritable to startled to amused.—
—yeah. I'm 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑. I just love to see the little backstabbing freak who's been praying on my downfall." Literally.
He still remembers her chucking bricks at his head as he tried to keep his balance crossing treacherously high-up beams some 60 feet up in the air.—
—me..." he mutters mostly to himself as he spots her. Raising his voice, he hails Gracie from down below.
"I thought I already took out the trash! You want to tell me what you think you're doing back here?"
Jimmy enters the school's main building like a man on a mission, the doors creaking shut behind him as he makes a beeline for the stairs.
He considers speaking to Dr. Crabblesnitch about this otherwise unexpected development, not that he has the power to reverse what's been—
The students seemed to calm at this, but not entirely. Gracie was terrifying and mean, and they had believed to be rid of her for good.
Meanwhile, Gracie was leaving the office looking rather annoyed. Back in this shithole again. Not exactly pleased after her epic defeat..
—done, but he wants answers if nothing else. His gaze wanders up to the second floor, and he slows to a stop in the middle of the main hall.
Having already taken his classmates' word for it, he's no longer shocked. Just pissed and disappointed. "Aw, you've gotta be kidding—
➤ Based on the context clues I've gleaned from the game (i.e. the way Jimmy shows sympathy and apologizes to girls, even if they're rude to him) Jimmy has a soft side for women.
He doesn't like hurting them, and he certainly never wants to fight or cause them distress.
➤ My version of Jimmy knows all the special power moves from the "Little Help" missions.
He's a force to be reckoned with during physical combat, possessing a high tolerance for pain and the ability to take down numerous enemies even when he's outnumbered.
