Such actions once again raise serious concerns over the growing pattern of central agencies being weaponised against Opposition leaders.

Incidentally, this also exposes the hollowness of the reckless allegations made by some Congress leaders who repeatedly questioned why Pinarayi Vijayan had “not yet been targeted by the BJP”!

The reports regarding the release of a sequel to the hate-mongering film 'The Kerala Story' should be seen with utmost gravity. Having already seen through the communal agenda and blatant lies of the first part, Kerala will once again reject this attempt to demonise our secular fabric with contempt. It is shocking how fabricated narratives aimed at inciting communal discord receive a free pass, while critical expressions of art get gagged. We must stand united against these attempts to paint our land of harmony as a hub of terror. The truth shall always prevail.

#WATCH | Kerala: An air ambulance helicopter of the Home Department is transporting a donor heart from Thiruvananthapuram Medical College to Ernakulam General Hospital

The heart belongs to Shibu (47), a native of Chirakkara, Idavattam in Kollam district, who was declared brain dead following a road accident. As part of the organ donation process, the heart has been allocated to Ernakulam General Hospital. One kidney is being donated to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, the eyes to the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology in Thiruvananthapuram, the liver to Amrita Hospital, and the other kidney to Travancore Medical College in Kollam. This is the first time in the country that a heart transplant is being carried out at a district-level hospital.
