Meet Asya Adkins-Cenatus, the new principal of @oakparklions!

Asya began her HCPS career in 2013 as a kindergarten teacher at Oak Park before teaching multiple grade levels and serving as the school’s reading coach.

She later supported the Transformation Network as a reading coach in 2021 and became assistant principal at @JamesJaguars1 the following year.

In 2022, she returned to Oak Park, where she has continued to serve as assistant principal.

Congratulations, Principal Adkins-Cenatus! We can’t wait to see all you will accomplish in this next chapter.

With a heavy heart, Oak Park would like to share the funeral arrangements for Ms. Bonnita. A service to honor her life will be held on 12/3 at noon at Aikens Funeral Home. All are welcome to join us in celebrating her memory.

IF THE LIGHTS ARE FLASHING, DON'T GO PASSING! 🚫🚌 Starting tomorrow, drivers who illegally pass a stopped school bus will receive a $225 fine issued by @HCSOSheriff.

During the warning period, we saw 10,175 violations. We need our community's help in keeping our students safe!
