Finding out that Lucifer created the duck show he was watching means that this whole time, it wasn't necessarily foreshadowing of a lucilith reconciliation in the future, but rather what Lucifer WISHES would happen in the future 😭
I HAVE MANY, BUT.
Something I think we gloss over at times is Alastor’s WHIMSY. He’s not just theatrical and exaggerated for the sake of a performance, he truly finds joy and entertainment in most situations, a kind of twisted self-amusement.
This aspect of his character really pushes him beyond the monstrous ~radio demon~ — he isn’t simply cruel or powerful, he is theatrical about it, almost absurd in his performance of it.
There is genuine, playful, AND unsettling delight in the way he moves through the world, really as if every room is a stage and every conversation is a little game he has already decided to win. I love that about him.
