@HawleyMO One issue is, when the Constitution was written they probably had no idea how corrupt and lazy Congress members would become. It's easy to see how members are bought to play political games.

I think voters will lose faith that anyone will make positive changes if many of the corrupt politicians don’t go to jail before the elections; Trump originally ran saying he would drain the swamp but that hasn’t happened. Both sides have lazy, corrupt, self-serving politicians & the people are tired of empty promises.
