In the Banshihari area of Dakshin Dinajpur, the statues of Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu, the legendary heroes of the Santhal Rebellion, have been vandalised.

This is not mere vandalism. It is a direct attack on Adivasi pride, history and the identity of Bengal’s tribal communities.

The same people who seek votes in the name of tribal welfare remain silent when the icons revered by tribal society are repeatedly disrespected.

Bengal will not tolerate this politics of hatred and insult. Those responsible for this disgraceful act must be identified and punished immediately!

But how would the Bohiragotos know? These are the same people who call Bengali a "Bangladeshi language" and claim "there is no such language as Bengali." If you can’t even comprehend the language of the soil, you have no business trying to rule it.

Today, our delegation met @CEOWestBengal and registered a strong objection regarding the repeated and highly suspicious disruptions in CCTV surveillance at multiple strong rooms where polled EVMs and VVPATs are stored.

This is a direct and deliberate violation of @ECISVEEP own guidelines, which clearly mandate 24×7 uninterrupted CCTV surveillance with continuous recording and access for authorised party representatives.

We have made strong demands to:
👉 Immediately compile a complete report of all instances of CCTV malfunction, disruption, or downtime across every strong room in the state.
👉 Provide full, unedited CCTV recordings along with detailed logs showing all periods of interruption.
👉 Restore all CCTV systems to full, uninterrupted functionality with real-time monitoring and accountability for every lapse.
👉 Ensure continuous and unrestricted access to the surveillance feed for authorised representatives as per ECI protocols.

Any attempt to tamper with the mandate of the people through technical sabotage will not be tolerated.

.@BJP4India is now promising DA for government employees and implementation of the 7th Pay Commission in Bengal.

Bengal has already revised the pay of its state employees and has been consistently meeting its obligations. What BJP is promising today is something they had seven years and full control of the Central Government to deliver, but never did.

Instead, they chose to withhold ₹2 lakh crore of Bengal’s rightful funds. A party that starves the state of its own money has no right to promise pay commissions using Bengal’s own resources.

This is hypocrisy of the highest order. Bengal will not be fooled by these cheap election jumlas.

Chief Minister @MamataOfficial has directed all party workers and the general public to stay alert and maintain strict vigilance during the election and counting process.

Before the polls, the BJP and the Election Commission are systematically removing state officials from border areas to facilitate the entry of outsiders. They are attempting to rig the elections by bringing in people from outside, along with drugs and cash. The same tactic was used in Assam.

On counting day, officials of the Election Commission may try to give BJP an early lead and indulge in EVM manipulation. Therefore, strict monitoring must continue till the final round of counting.
