@4symbols78 I have my doctorate in athletic training and have extra certifications in cupping (dry, both static and dynamic cupping), KT taping, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.
I don't know everything but if you mention what you want to learn, I can help guide you
Are there manual therapies or hands on techniques you've been wanting to learn or want to start using in your practice?
Then message me! Let Applied Therapeutics teach you at your own pace how to use those techniques in your own practice!
@4symbols78 I offer 1-on-1 virtual sessions, either 30 minutes or 1 hour that allow you to practice, learn, or discuss things you want to learn! I started a business called Applied Therapeutics Coaching and have been looking for people who need help with elevating their practice!
@4symbols78 Otherwise, we could even go over things such as evaluation process and diagnosis or any other part of practice you may need help boosting. Let me know how I can help!
@4symbols78 Yeah that's what I've noticed, it's hard to fit all that into a program but it's so helpful for practice to know these skills.
If there's something particular you're interested in, such as joint mobilizations like mulligan, we can book a time to go over it!
At what point in your career do you stop getting asked if you're a student or a grad assistant? Asking for a friend 😅😅
I know I look 20 but I have my doctorate and I'm 5 years into the profession 😅🥲
@4symbols78 That's awesome!!! What manual therapy are you interested in?
I can send you prices for session times if your interested! We do live guided sessions and so you can learn and practice that skill at your own pace with live feedback
@StephGrajek_ATC@ayjm_DATATC Once when I was ask a high school, I came in the staff door but my card wasn't working. Our liason police officer opened the door and asked why I wasn't going through the student entrance. I'd even had conversations with him before 🤣
As preceptors and YPs transitioning into being "vets", we have to do a better job of educating students about the good, the bad, and the ugly of this profession. Students/Newly certified ATs should know about the potential deal breakers in order to prepare accordingly.
