If they'd try the SD card in the pocket itself to see if it behaves the same way or not it would shed light on the situation.

Then we'd know if the issue's isolated to working with the ED or just the pocket

I've had many packages from 3-5000 come in through DHL and never once been asked for anything of the sort.

I have however been asked if things were personal use or commercial whenever it's been over $1000.
