Yesterday one of @DStv consultants called both me and my dad offering us a new decoder. Apparently the one we have is old and could stop working at any time, so this new decoder they are offering us is a "smart" decoder, it comes with Netflix, Showmax and a router for only R259.

@DStv @DStv is this true? Reason for asking is because the 2 ladies who kept calling and pressuring us to take the deal sounded very shady. They first called with a Durban number, then they called with a Capetown number and then they called using an 072, an 087 and an 079 number.

@DStv They said we will pay this R259 for 24 months. I asked them what about the channels we are already paying for, they said if we take the decoder we will only pay R259 for everything this includes our channels we currently have, Netflix, Showmax and the router.
