A lot of young people in urban metropolitan India speak this Frankenstein accent that combines American valley girl and British bureaucrat with Hinglish and Indian English vocabulary. It's a completely homegrown accent. Nothing fake or foreign about it.

I’m staying. So is the curry.
America is my home. No bigot gets to decide who is American, who belongs here, or what they have for dinner.
That’s the America I’ll always fight for.
We always talk about the 2,753 people who died in the Twin Towers.
You know what we don't talk about?
The 15,000 who were successfully evacuated.
Yes, the survival rate for people in the World Trade Center when the planes hit was over 80%.
If you were below the impact zone, the survival rate was nearly 99%.
This is because of two things:
1. The incredible work of the first responders
2. The incredible engineering of the Twin Towers.
While 9/11 was an American Tragedy, the evacuation was an American Triumph.
We should be more proud of that.
@wordofshekhawat A: She didn't say shit about hinduism in particular.

To the genuine students who are protesting, I urge you to suspend your protests till peace is re established. Do it every time violence breaks out and your protest is hijacked! There is no limit to how many times you can exercise your constitutional right to protest, so don’t help others burn your own house down in anger! 🙏🏽🤍
