I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

@shandataber@GetSpectrum Call them and tell them you'll switch providers if they can't get the price down. Usually, they'll give you a discount that lasts a year or two. Call back every time the discount expires. It's a pain, but it works.

This show is All American on the CW. These high school shows dealing with topical issues are so rare now. Dawson's Creek, 90210, even Buffy used to address issues that spurred conversations in homes.
