@OwenJones84@QuizzicalGoat But male and female are sex-based categories not gender-based categories. So you're saying that sex and gender are inherently the same thing? Because I thought that was the thinking you wanted to deny? 🤔 What you just inferred is that male = man and female = woman 🙃
@badbih101_@leohonek@NoLieWithBTC@elonmusk Because the "plan" that was sent to him didn't actually fulfill his directions of "show me a plan of how $6.6billion would end world hunger."
@craigsfire @marcwparrish@NoLieWithBTC Work in marketing/retail/all the other jobs that never existed back when farmers could only feed 10 families each. Do you farm? If not then you are likely one of those 99 people that doesn't have to be farming in order to feed yourself as a result of the changes to agriculture.
@danhalcyon @marcwparrish@NoLieWithBTC Because the plan didn't do what they said it would. They claimed they could "end world hunger" with $6billion but the plan would provide 1 meal a day to 42 million people (out of hundreds of millions who need it) for 1 year. That's not what they initially said they would do.
@TruWordsRSpoken @NoLieWithBTC And why shouldn't he? It's his money. If you want to waste $6billion on a plan with more holes than a sieve then go build your own multi-billion $ companies and use the profit on whatever you like.
@rcodyromero@tripleohseven@tzwidem@NoLieWithBTC No one's saying "we should do nothing" but spending £6billion on a temporary solution would be a waste when that money could be better used investing in ways to allow food deserts to produce more edible produce, thereby creating a long term solution.
@Loveamethyst90@NoLieWithBTC It's his money. How come you're spending your money on internet and a phone/device to Tweet from when you could have donated it to someone who is starving or homeless?!
@writerhaha@mike_shoal@NoLieWithBTC It can but it takes time and land to do so. No amount of money will magic food out of thin air, especially not in areas which are food deserts for a reason... Because virtually nothing edible will grow there.
The BBC have been saying since the 1980s that a mass audience won’t follow a farming programme - unless it is made simple/lifestyle/magazine based - because it is too ‘niche’
It has never been true - and multiple counter examples have repeatedly proven it
The truth is starting to emerge folks… slowly (and with the immense help of @BretWeinstein and the DarkHorse Podcast). Plus I was invited to discuss censorship this weekend on the national TV news program “Sunday Morning Futures” with @MariaBartiromo. Set the DVR!
@JeremyClarkson More seasons ASAP please!!! Best and most honest farming programme ever made! It's great to see someone highlighting the true challenges farmers face whilst trying to feed the public! Your team are amazing, Kaleb especially! @PrimeVideo
@JeremyClarkson We LOVED it! Best thing to happen to farming in decades. Funny, self deprecating, raw and honest. Can't stand @BBCCountryfile and it's saccharine view of the countryside for urbanites. #ClarksonsFarm is your best work. Kaleb is a rising star. And you lucked out with Lisa!
@JeremyClarkson Genuinely the best thing I’ve watched for years, funny as F but also highlights all the sh*t us farmers have to put up with - you’ve done more for British farming in one series than Countryfile have managed in the last decade.
