In line with many other events scheduled for today, it is with much regret that our concert of 'Messiah and Carols' WILL NOT TAKE PLACE THIS EVENING.
With the various extreme weather warnings in place, the safety of choir and audience members alike is our priority. (1/3)
As much as we as a whole choir are disappointed, we recognise the importance of keeping everybody safe at this time. The choir has been working very hard and we regret not being able to perform.
We are currently discussing about rearranging the concert to a future date. (2/3)
Do come to hear a rare performance of the great late Richard Rodney Bennett’s The Glory and the Dream by @BirminghamBach in St Paul’s Church in the Jewellery quarter on Saturday 23rd November at 7pm. Also Britten’s beautiful Flower Songs and Partsongs by John Ireland. Do join us!
Gabriel Fauré died 100 years ago today. What better way to commemorate the occasion than with the In Paradisum from his Requiem : new film by @MaitriseTlse with organist Michel Bouvard. https://t.co/sISqo4aaPf

Very proud to have put this celebration of Benjamin Luxon together 12 noon on 28/11. Am VERY grateful to @wigmore_hall for hosting, and to an amazing line up of speakers and singers taking part. Hopefully we can celebrate this great man as he deserves!
