This serves as a reminder for how corrupt our state legislature really is. This was a bi-partisan bill promoting public safety and transparency. 😡

The EMS Transparency bill, HB 264, passed the House 148-6 and Senate 51-0, but the bill died in reconciliation because a poison pill was added that nobody could support (gutting state ethics laws).

We're very disappointed, but we will keep fighting for passage of HB 264 in 2020.

@wesj_42 @ClarkeDems The push to decriminalize marijuana hit a snag at the Solicitor's office, but we're hopeful the commission will pass a parallel ordinance anyway.
