The English terms came from the same word but each has a different meaning. One is referring to the followers of Judeaism (not used in the bible) and one is people from Judea.

@DarthShahder @academic_la @CameronS924 I think you are slow. The English term Jew is a religious term. It never existed in the old testament. The old testament never mentioned a religion by the name of "Judeaism", NEVER.
The term that was used is Judean, meaning a person from Judea regardless of their religion.
