The latest data from StatsSA shows that there are 9.5 million young people aged 15-34 not in education, employment or training (NEET), or 45.9% of South Africa's youth. #YouthDay#SABCNews
Youth unemployment in South Africa currently stands at 45.8% ‼️😕
a staggering 4.7m young people are locked out of the economy with no jobs
it’s a national crisis when so much potential & talent evaporates into an economically lost generation
When we said we want equality and land reform, the world got told we’re killing farmers. When we said we don’t want illegal migration the world is being told we’re xenophobic… we the only nation with no rights in this world, I’m starting to believe
So Tedros was told of the deaths of Ethiopians. Which was related to organised crime and decided he would make statement? For someone who has access to proper channels for clarity, this is very disappointing. He abused his office to fight/raise a personal issue.
I need folks to understand that there are things in diplomacy that simply can't be explained away as mistakes. And what Tedros, at WHO did, is one of them.
Funny how you’re spreading claims about South Africa, yet you’re silent about the trafficking networks that move young Ethiopian men into South Africa every week.
You never seem to have anything to say about illegal migration, human trafficking or the criminal syndicates profiting from it. But the moment South Africans demand that immigration laws be enforced and that people build their own countries, suddenly you’re concerned. The selective outrage is hard to miss. https://t.co/GX23ijZKE3
I went through your timeline and couldn’t find you saying anything about what’s happening in Belfast. It’s always South Africa that gets lectures, statements and international outrage but the same voices are often nowhere to be found when similar incidents happen elsewhere.
South Africans will decide South Africa’s future. We can listen to opinions but we’re not obligated to accept every narrative pushed by people who don’t live with the consequences of our government’s policies. Every country has the right to discuss its immigration laws, border security and national interests without being reduced to a caricature. So go to hell Sir.
Kabelo won a R12.8m earthworks package on a R327m wastewater project in Ekurhuleni. 3 weeks later, men at the gate told him 40% belonged to them. He had the contract, machines and workers, but no longer controlled whether they could enter the construction site.

These guys are frustrating Spain and I’m supposed to believe that what happened with us against Mexico wasn’t an act of treason against our entire population
