Let’s come together for a concert happening on Sunday at Uhuru Park in Nairobi to honor Kenyans who stood up against and defeated the Finance Bill, 2024. We will persist in seeking justice, ensuring that the police officers who took their lives are apprehended and brought to justice.
'Mene mene tekel'
"Mene mene tekel!" (Daniel 5: 26-28) was the resounding message delivered to Zakayo in churches across Kenya today, from the waterfalls of Nyahururu to the wide boulevards of Washington. The phrase means, "God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; you have been weighed and found wanting."
Now Zakayo is desperate to do anything to halt our Million March to Parliament on Tuesday:-
•Divide and conquer. A few youth will be called to a meeting in State House to try and dissuade others from going to the streets. Our movement has no leaders, so he can only address us, the millions of Kenyan youth, together.
•Deploy pseudo protesters who are violent so as to discredit our peaceful protests and justify police brutality, and discourage many others from participating.
•Engage in mass arrests on Monday and Tuesday and charge those arrested with trumped-up crimes with the hope of demoralising the movement.
•Thankfully, our battery of lawyers are waiting to test the legitimacy of this evil regime. Our committed doctors are ready to attend to any injuries. As Wangari Maathai taught us, we have the rage and courage. With our blood and tears, we shall reclaim our land. There is no turning back, even as corruption fights back.
