Kapil Bhai, I ignored the fight first but PC caught my eye. So forgive me when I say, I remember one or two press conference of Dr. Manmohan Singh.

In his book accidental Prime Minister Sanjay Baru revealed, before going into Press Conference, Manmohan Singh was prepared for approximate 50 questions and out of those only 2 question were not prepared for and that were jolly questions.

After 2g Scam (I think) Arnab Goswami and it was on Davos Deal in Nov, 2011 and Manmohan Singh and establishment was like, how could such questions be asked...Same Arnab went on to destroy Rahul Gandhi in 1 on 1 interview.

What good were this type of Press Conference. And what is the motive of Press Conference? To expose PM to a hostile media. In today's world, PM has channels like Mann Ki Bat, Twitter, Facebook, DD, YouTube from where he can interact with his countrymen or made his opinion clear on matters. I remember not a single issue where before elections BJP or PM did not make it self clear on any particular issue.

On other thoughts, After operation sheeshmehal, Arvind Kejriwal did not do a press conference. Neither after joining hands with Sharad Pawar when he was in the most corrupted list. Or in the liquor scam. Or Khalistani links. Or the everyday bomb blasts that happened in Punjab.
