BREAKING: The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has resolved recent internal concerns following a closed-door meeting between our presidential candidate, His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi, CON, The National Leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson and many other senior party leaders.
The meeting, which lasted approximately three hours, reviewed the party’s activities and addressed issues that had caused concern among stakeholders.

Adamawa Awards N4.2b For Construction Of Residences For New Chiefdoms, Other Projects
The Adamawa state Executive Council presided over by the Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has approved N4.2 billion for the construction of official residence for six out of the seven newly created Chiefdoms and Emirates in the state
Addressing newsmen shortly after the 8th Exco meeting, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Barrister Leader Leneke revealed that Eight memos were considered and approved by the council during today's meeting
Leneke said approvals were made for the construction of high court complex in Numan at the coast N386,934,760,83 awarded to Samparaco Nigeria Limited to be completed within six months, procurement of furniture for presidential lodge at the government house, Yola,
Other are variation for additional work on the contract for perimeter fencing and gate at 1000
Fintiri Housing Units along bye-pass Malkohi.
Also, contract for the implementation of digitization and capacity building project for Adamawa state civil service, approval for the Adamawa state 10 year Strategic
Developmental Plan (SSDP) 2026-2035, variation on the contract for the constructions at the Ultra modern Jimeta shopping mull lots 1, 2 and 3 were approved.
State Commissioner For Justice and Attorney General Barrister Afraimu Jingi said the court complex in Numan would entertain cases from Shelleng, Numan, Guyuk, Lamurde and Demsa LGAs as well as bring justice closer to the people
He enumerated that the court would ease movement of litigance and reduce coast of litigation and guarantee peace.
Also, Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development Abdullahi Adamu Prambe, noted work is on going on parameter fencing moving to the residential houses of the new chiefdoms to be completed in six months period.
Also, the state Chairperson, Planning Commission Dr. Mary Paninga and the Sepecial Assitant to the governor on ICT and E-governance Adamu Hammanjam shed more light on the importance of the ten year state development plan approved by the council, and the digitization and capacity building project for Adamawa state civil service.
According to them, the strategic plan and its implementation would help sustain the legacies of government, while the digitization and capacity building for civil service will help digitize the records of civil servants in the state aimed at addressing the challenges regarding the authenticity of records which includes recruitment, posting, transfer, and address pension related issues
The Adamawa State Government has officially launched its Strategic Development Plan for 2026–2035, a long-term blueprint designed to drive sustainable growth, infrastructure expansion, economic diversification, and enhanced social services across the state.
This long-term plan is for sustainable development in Adamawa State, and whoever comes after His Excellency, @GovernorAUF is expected to continue implementing this strategic plan for a more prosperous Adamawa State.
While no official announcement has been made, H.E. Rotimi Amaechi is widely expected to emerge as the vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Defection: Resign Or Face Termination And Forfeiture of Benefits
Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has directed all political office holders serving in this administration who have publicly declared allegiance to, or defected to, other political parties to immediately resign their appointments.
“This directive has become necessary to preserve government loyalty, discipline, and the integrity of public service,” the Governor said.
The Governor noted that political appointees are expected to uphold the policies, programmes, and political direction of the administration under which they serve.
“Continued service by persons who have aligned with another party poses a clear risk of sabotage, information leakage, and obstruction of policy implementation and party strategy,” he added.
Accordingly, all affected appointees are hereby mandated to submit their letters of resignation to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government within 48 hours of this directive.
Furthermore, the Office of the Secretary to the State Government and the Office of the Head of Service are directed to compile, verify, and submit a comprehensive list of all affected political appointees for compliance monitoring.
Failure to comply with this directive within the stipulated timeframe shall result in immediate termination of appointment, cessation of all salaries, entitlements, and benefits, and further administrative action.
“This is a clear message that public office is held in trust and must align with the vision, agenda, and mandate of the administration. Government cannot condone divided loyalty in the discharge of public trust,” the Governor stated.
This directive takes immediate effect.

NDC Approves Key Appointments in New Media and Strategic Communications
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has approved the appointments of Agada Abuh Theophilus as Director of New Media and Strategic Communications, and Brian Dennis as Deputy Director of New Media and Strategic Communications
Agada Abuh Theophilus (@TheoAbuAgada) is a strategic communications professional with a proven record across political campaigns, corporate brand management, institutional PR, and new media. Agada is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Development Communications, specialising in strategic communication for social and institutional development, and is currently a PhD candidate researching election administration and management.
Brian Dennis (@XBrianDennis) is a communications analyst with seven years of experience in strategic and political communications. He holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution.

Governor Fintiri Appoints Dr Sabo Coordinator Digital Academy
Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has approved the appointment of Dr. Sumayya Babangida Sabo as Programme Coordinator of the Adamawa Digital Academy.
Dr. Sabo is an accomplished Information Systems professional, education administrator, and programme manager with extensive experience in digital skills development, academic administration, innovation programmes, and information technology management. She currently serves as Tutor and IT Coordinator at the American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola.
As Programme Coordinator, Dr. Sabo will oversee the day-to-day coordination of the Academy’s programmes, student onboarding, stakeholder engagement, academic administration, and the implementation of strategic partnerships to position the Academy as a leading digital skills institution in Nigeria and Africa.
The appointment is part of ongoing efforts to operationalize the Adamawa Digital Academy, a flagship initiative under the Adamawa 2.0 Digital Transformation Agenda aimed at training over 100,000 youths and civil servants in digital and emerging technology skills.
