Adeleke ran for Governor twice, but I doubted his experience was enough to deliver good governance.
I make very bold to say that in 2 years, he has achieved more than ANY Osun governor within the same period—in fact, he has eclipsed both APC governors.
Bless you, Adeleke.
Today, I received the Presidential Livestock Committee of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, led by Professor Attahiru Jega, on a courtesy visit.
In my address to the committee, I commended the federal government’s ongoing reforms in the livestock sector, aimed at achieving food sufficiency for the Nigerian people.
I emphasized our administration’s policy of fostering deliberate partnerships with the Federal Government through various ministries and agencies. I assured the delegation that Osun State, through the Ministry of Agriculture, is committed to establishing the necessary legal and policy framework to domesticate this commendable initiative.
Furthermore, I proposed the establishment of a federally owned Livestock Research, Development, and Innovation Institute in Osun State. I also requested infrastructural support for industrialized livestock production that spans the entire value chain. This will significantly enhance our ongoing collaboration with French investors in livestock development, milk production, and other areas of the livestock value chain, an outcome of my visit to France last year.
In our usual fashion since the commencement of our administration, we began the first working day of the year 2025 with hosting of the annual inter-religious prayer, held today at the Government Secretariat.
Addressing the audience of top religious leaders, leading traditional rulers, Labour leaders and workers of the state, I attributed the tremendous success recorded by our administration last year to the unflinching support of Almighty God and the people of Osun State.
I reiterated that in this year 2025 and beyond, our administration will not be found wanting in service delivery. We will continue to care for the young, the old, women, youth and children with renewed focus on soft infrastructure to complement the ongoing hard infrastructure upgrades across the state.
Dear people and residents of Osun State, I welcome you and your household to the new year 2025. In 2025, I will remain your responsive, listening, and compassionate governor. My only motivation will continue to be the well-being of you, the good people of Osun state

This New Year marks the beginning of a momentous era, one of heightened public awareness and vigilance. It is a time when every Nigerian must closely observe the actions and decisions of our political leaders. As we welcome the dawn of 2025, I see an invaluable opportunity to reshape and redefine our national dialogue. I urge all Nigerians to actively participate in safeguarding the principles of democracy.
I call on every citizen to remain resolute in holding political leaders, at every level of government, accountable. We must ensure that no one wields unchecked power that could erode our liberties or exploit public office for personal gain.
Reflecting on the challenges of the past year, I recognize that 2024 provided a sobering glimpse into the pressing need for governmental accountability. I am profoundly grateful to the Almighty for granting us the grace to witness another year, despite the arduous trials we have faced.
The trials of the past year have only served to fortify our faith. Our unshakable belief in divine protection has been our guiding light, and it is this same spirit of unwavering faith that will continue to propel us forward in the coming year.
As we step into this New Year, I implore all Nigerians to nurture our shared hopes of collective prosperity. The vigilance of the citizenry is paramount in ensuring that those in leadership never abuse the power entrusted to them. Together, we must firmly restrain any attempts by an overreaching government to encroach on the public good or our fundamental rights.
“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty,” and it is in this spirit that I urge us all to remain ever watchful in guarding against any threat to our democracy. Let us hold firm to our resolve to protect the principles that unite us and to resist any efforts to divide us along religious or ethnic lines.
It is my fervent prayer that 2025 will usher in a fresh dawn, sweeping away the years of national hardships that have hindered our country’s growth. I particularly pray for a revitalization of our national economy so that we may breathe freely once more, liberated from the suffocating grip of economic hardship.
As we celebrate the divine favor that allows us to witness this New Year, let us not forget our fellow Nigerians who were not so fortunate—those whose lives were claimed by the relentless storms of daily hardships. Their struggles remind us of the urgent work that lies ahead.
With hope in my heart and faith in our collective strength, I wish you all a prosperous New Year filled with boundless blessings and success in all our endeavors. Together, let us build a safer, stronger, and more unified nation. -AA
I extend my warm wishes to Christian faithfuls in Osun State and beyond as we mark this year's Christmas. The birth of Jesus Christ is a manifestation of the power of love and remind us of the essence of compassion.
In the mood of celebration, I urge us to take a moment to reflect on the message of renewal that the birth of Jesus Christ signifies, promoting activities that will unite not divide, build not destroy, and bring peace not conflict.
It is also my sincere appeal that we extend hands of kindness to the needy and the weak in the society, spreading love and generosity beyond borders. That is the essence of Christmas and it is most essential that at a time like this, no one is left to their fate. Merry Christmas and wishing you a prosperous new year ahead.
Our administration has rehabilitated 200 out of 400 primary health centres. For 2025, we are expanding our remodelling hand to the general hospitals. I want to assure this audience that in 2025, Iwo General Hospital will get its due attention.

@SDescartes3 @tunmishe_@Dontee___@Abiodun0x Obviously. That's my position. He expressed his opinion, but showing unnecessary bias against the Governor who was just being naturally empathetic will not be accepted. He should get that right.
@tunmishe_ @SDescartes3 @Dontee___@Abiodun0x No one is gagging u frm speaking, but twisting an empathetic act of d Gov' to political take is where d problem lies. But as usual, every Osun APC person detests & gets riled up unnecessarily wn Adeleke takes shine on anything. You in for a long ride on that, cuz more of it beckons
@tunmishe_ @SDescartes3 @Dontee___@Abiodun0x Infusing your political sentiments into the issue arouse my commentary. If not, definitely, I did be less concerned about whatever legal take you would have had on it. But your prejudice against the Governor was written all-over your take on the issue and that inform my response.
@tunmishe_ @SDescartes3 @Dontee___@Abiodun0x And nobody craves for that as well or cares if you give it. However, if you infuse political sentiments into a clear legal issue, you will get necessary responses from the right quarters. Simplicita!
@Dontee___@tunmishe_@Abiodun0x Hopefully, you don't become a victim of the judicial recklessness that pervades our society at the moment, by then, I hope you won't seek the help of this kind of 'ridiculous tweet' as you claimed. May you be healed from continuous irrelevant hatred against Governor Adeleke.
