This Is Official Twitter Handle Of H.E Atiku Abubakar's Youth Wing KANO Chapter. As One, We Can Get It Done With The UNIFIER! We Are The Wing Of The Unifier.
I accidentally sent my friend $20 instead of $200.
He had asked me to send $200 for something we were buying together.
I was in a hurry and typed the wrong amount.
He immediately called.
“Bro, you sent $20.”
I checked my phone.
“You’re right. Sorry.”
“I need the rest.”
“I’ll send it now.”
He said, “Forget it.”
I thought he was joking.
“No, seriously. I’ll send it.”
He said, “Don’t worry.”
I sent the remaining $180 anyway.
The next day, he called me.
“Can you send me $20?”
The same Mahmoud Yakubu telling Nigerian youths to rise and defend our democracy someone who, in my view, undermined that very democracy.
This time around, I hope Senator Dino Melaye won’t allow APC to “ring” the 2027 election.
Thanks to Senator Dino @_dinomelaye. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
This is the largest Facebook and online poll conducted by the Tinubu Must Go movement, involving thousands of participants. Atiku Abubakar emerged as the clear winner with over 70% of the votes, winning by a significant landslide.
BREAKING: Abba Hikima, Esq., Convener of Tinubu Must Go (TMG), has withdrawn his support for Peter Obi and Senator Kwankwaso ahead of the 2027 election and declared his support for the Atiku/Amaechi ticket.
@Abbahikima explained:
“Following the final result of the #TMGPoll, I have decided to withdraw my support for Peter Obi and Senator Kwankwaso in this election.
Not because I dislike them, but because I love Nigeria, my people, and any form of unity that can lead to the removal of the Tinubu government.
May Allah grant Alhaji @atiku Abubakar victory over Tinubu by a wide margin.
And if he wins, may Allah make him a means of bringing relief, peace, and security to our people.
Ameen.”
My older brother asked me for $30,000 last year. He said he had found a piece of land at a very good price and needed the money quickly before someone else bought it.
I didn’t have $30,000 sitting around, but I had some savings and sold a few things I had planned to keep. I gave him the money without a contract or interest because, at the end of the day, he was my brother.
He promised to return it within six months.
Six months became a year.
Whenever I asked, he always had another reason. The land deal had been delayed. Then there was a problem with the documents. Then he needed more time.
I eventually stopped asking.
Last month, I went to his house for my mother’s birthday. His wife was showing everyone pictures from their recent vacation.
Five-star hotel. Business class. Expensive restaurants.
I didn’t say anything.
Later that evening, my brother pulled me aside and said, “Please don’t bring up the money here.”
I looked at him.
“Why?”
When I first argued that government should review its approach to the withdrawal of petrol subsidy and consider responsible intervention to bring down the cost of fuel, Mr. Bola Tinubu dismissed my proposal as demonstrating “serious ignorance” of governance and the economy.
My dear Bola, events since then have raised a simple question.
Is the Nigeria Labour Congress also ignorant when it calls for urgent intervention to cushion workers from rising petrol prices?
Are petroleum marketers ignorant when they call for policies that strengthen domestic refining and help moderate pump prices?
Are Nigerian manufacturers ignorant when they warn that power-related expenses now consume more than half of operating costs?
And are the millions of Nigerians crying out because they can no longer afford transportation, food and other basic necessities also ignorant?
When workers, producers, marketers and ordinary families are all raising the alarm, government must listen.
If everybody who questions your policy is ignorant, while only the President is presumed to be wise, then we have a leadership problem on our hands. - Atiku Abubakar.
