What PPG could release in a statement tomorrow:
-Reinstate Valko in the game as a full LI (w/wo delay)
-Reinstate Valko in the game as a special encounter (w/wo delay)
-Announce Raf’s myth (w/wo addressing Valko)
-A vague statement that does not provide clarity abt Valko (ie. a “we realized we were too decisive too quickly and will be gathering feedback and deliberating” type response)
-Confirm his permanent cancellation
-Remain Silent

If they remain silent, the next most likely day for them to post would be Aug 2nd.

Personally, I think they should post tomorrow bc the following two days ppl on CN socials can’t post in observance of national holidays, which will help quell the worst of the backlash (regardless of what they say).

I’m expecting the worst but hoping for the best. My instincts say he’ll be back, but PPG is too unpredictable to place my confidence in. I’m hopeful, but not holding my breath.

Bc of how this all played out, even if they make a statement saying they’ll bring Valko back as a full LI, I will continue boycotting until he’s fully playable, bc their statements don’t mean shit at this point.

As we get closer to the 29th I just want to reiterate that IF they bring Valko back and make meaningful steps to address issues like lighting, free content, and dia farming, I think we should definitely reward that with goodwill. Taking an attitude of "it's too late, the damage is done" will show the company that meaningful change isn't necessary bc it won't get them anything but more complaints. We should be ready to offer praise, encouragement, and even money to show that their efforts are not only heard, but accepted.

Our relationship with any business is a two way street. As long as they provide what we ask for, we should be willing to reciprocate appropriately. What that looks like depends on the individual. But let's not be stubborn and refuse any good effort bc it's "not enough" or "too little too late". That attitude doesn't help anyone imo
