I started because I got inspired by my father, who was a former Formula Asia driver and India's first national karting champion. So I got inspired by him, and I saw him race a little bit in Dubai too. So I started out myself… I do a lot of fitness, and I try to work a lot on the simulator as well to improve my driving skills… I started in 2021 professionally when I was seven years old in the bambino category.”

She didn't just win in Greece. She owned the track.

Atiqa Mir delivered a sensational performance in Greece at Round 2 of the Champions of the Future Academy Program, dominating the field from start to finish.

She topped qualifying, won her heats, and led the final from lights to flag to seal a spectacular victory.

In doing so, she became only the third driver in the series' history to complete a clean sweep of qualifying, heats, and the final.

For Indian motorsport, it was more than a win. It was a glimpse of what's possible when talent meets opportunity on the world stage.

The chequered flag dropped.

But Atiqa's message to the world had already crossed the finish line.
