Thankfully, the doctors office was very nice and resent the bill to insurance, saving me like $150 on that bill. I did that with my other medical bills and saved over $500 by literally just catching timing on these appointments.
Chatgpt saved me hundreds in medical bills. Here's how:
I went to the doctor back in April for a referral. The appointment took maybe 20-30 minutes total. The doctor was knowledgeable and provided great care.
A little while later, I get the bill, and it's like $340.. not bad
Turns out the code they used was for a complex, 45-59 minute appointment. I was sitting there thinking there was no way I was in there for that long, and the referral was simple.
Asked chatgpt to write me a note I can send to billings. Copy pasted it and boom 💥
At first, I was going to just pay the bill. I had not met deductible yet, and so I didn't question it. That was my first mistake. Always question the billing.
They had provided an itemized bill and it included the CPT code. I dropped the code in chat and explained my situation
@VinIyengar Does this apply to non-eng roles though ? Seems like most of those roles require some experience from big brands (MBB, Bulge bracket or PE,big tech)
“ We imitate the habits of three groups in particular :
1. The close
2. The many
3. The powerful”
Reading Atomic habits right now and this quote really stuck out to me.
Listening to @TechWithX talk about AI, her life values and impact of algorithms on people’s lives. Just amazing stuff. Thank you @teamkorie and @camillelisa for hosting this space
@jeffweiner @brianrumao thank you so much for hosting this room. My biggest takeaway today is optimizing for skill and passion rather than one or the other. https://t.co/7lbcOT9rdQ
When your position is both “People who can’t afford to go to college shouldn’t take out loans to do it” and “People who do jobs that don’t require a college degree shouldn’t be paid a living wage” it kind of starts to seem like you just want to keep poor people poor.
