There is a very good example of the Perversion of Indology in this blurb.
The author asserts that the Marathas, the vanguard of Hindavi Swarajya, were aiming for Sanskritization.
How could this possibly be?
Well the thing is, ‘Sanskritization’ is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Shahu’s main bone to pick was wrt Brahmins doing Pauranic rituals instead of Vedic for Marathas who wanted to be recognized as Kshatriyas. Otherwise on all other counts, as you’d assume, the Marathas were as mainstream Hindu you could find.
Yet Indologists willingly add a mountain of hyperbole here in a way that will no doubt agitate progressive biases & myth-making.
Always keep your eyes up, soldier, when in the dark halls of academia 🫡
Most of the Muslims (and Christians) in the Indian subcontinent you see aren't converts from Hinduism but mostly Buddhism or animist tribal groups
> The numbers seem significant today because their numbers skyrocketed in past 200 years due to higher birth rates
> Undivided Lahore district (including Kasur then) was only 54% Muslim in 1851 despite 800 years or Muslim rule.
> Most of East Bengal was Hindu majority even until early 19th century. Dhaka was only 52% Muslim in 1830
> Dhaka wasn't even in Top 3 largest cities in 1872. In early 19th century, it was 1/3 size of Kolkata and less than 1/2 of Murshidabad.
> Kashmir had a density less than Sikkim when British started taking over the region, all of Pakistan was more sparse than Arunachal
> Muslims in the Indian subcontinent today = migrants + Buddhist/animist converts + higher birth rates basically
> Hindus did not convert in large numbers in any part of the Indian subcontinent
> You can take Kerala itself as an example today where Hindus were 80-85% back in 1821, but are <50% among newborns today.
@mujifren I've started to hate Short form content. I was pissed after watching hollow F-35 vs Su-57 debates, Shitty Libs, Dumb RWingers. I only use it these days for closed mutuals and can't scroll past few reels at best
@Jinesh_Choraria @KarnaniRoshan Bro appreciate your critic, but how about amino acid profile ? We need our kids need 1.6 g to 2.2 g / kg body weight. For veg folks we can do it by whey powder packets mixed in dals/sabzis and for non veg folks we do 4 eggs pers meal (micro-nutrients tabs vitamins + minerals)
India shut down its largest copper smelter in 2018 — Sterlite Tuticorin, 400,000 tonnes/year. Real environmental concerns, real protests, real consequences.
We went from copper exporter to importer overnight. Import bill now roughly ₹35,000 crore/year. And we're building an EV economy that runs on copper — every panel, transformer, charger, motor.
Six years later: no replacement smelter, no cleaner alternative, just a growing import bill. Hindalco's expanding, Adani's entering copper, but the gap is real.
Shutting capacity without building alternatives isn't environmental policy. It's de-industrialization by accident.
The Union Cabinet has approved a scheme that will work towards reducing pollution in the Delhi-NCR region and promote cleaner mobility. The scheme will improve air quality, support sustainable transport and benefit vehicle owners.

@SaffronOnX@mujifren he's the most anti-aman ki asha types, but I guess he isn't aware about those incidents. PS Pakis are smarter than most Arab nations (since thy prioritize skill over religiosity in higher posts)
@arya_amsha 3n. Also, unlike the mig 21, which in numbers could counter F-4's, Su-57 simply won't counter an American/Chinese jet. Russia's absence in semiconductor Industry implies poor EW suite for us.
@arya_amsha 2n. Russians themselves aren't confident about it and will probably go for Su-75 for their own; Ever since USSR's collapse the combined effect of brain drain to west, slashed funding, corruption, delays, and low industrial strength has crippled the russian aviation industry.
