A couple of housekeeping items
1) I've seen a number of mentions that would indicate people aren't seeing my tweets. I don't want to be that guy, but the only way I know to fix it is turn notifications on.
Two Padres losses will clinch it for the Braves. So if they lose tonight, the Braves would have 3 clinching scenarios tomorrow.
But I figure if most of y'all are paying attention to anything in MLB tonight it's the NYM/PHI game
Diamondbacks lost.
Magic number for the playoffs is 1.
Need a win or DBacks loss for a spot.
Don't think the Padres factor ATM but I'll confirm tomorrow.

@Bigrigy55 I've tried to think through everything but I'm open to being wrong. MLB app does not have this. Can't really affirm or dispute it without some insight into methodology. Unless @theScore or @theScoreHelp is willing to give insight, I don't think I can say much more.
@smilinJoe15@knockahomantn Yeah it's the final series.
The Diamondbacks have to win out and the Braves lose out to finish ahead of the Braves. That includes an AZ sweep of the Padres.
5 Padres losses guarantees they finish behind the Braves. 2 losses means they can't get swept in the final series.
@TigerReese@Ncrolltide21 I'm accounting for that in the scenario that started this. You need the Padres to lose a game before that works math wise.
Right now the Padres are too far ahead.
I posted about how a Padres lose scenario breaks the magic number formula because of that series earlier this week.
Keeping it ๐ฏ. Perez pitches around traffic, error for win number 100, his first on the road since June 13. Braves hit trio of 2-run homers for comeback. Bullpen shuts it down.
With the Phillies loss earlier, here's where the Magic Numbers stand:
Division: 5
Playoffs: 3
@Ncrolltide21 You've on the right track but that's actually why a Padres loss would clinch.
If the Braves win one game the rest of the way. SD could absorb two losses and AZ could absorb 1 and both could get in over the Braves.
