@TheStevenWillis France would be very very tough. We can score against them I think but I don’t think we can contain their multiple world class attackers. We might have to win a 3-2 or 4-3 game and I don’t know if we can score that many. Not impossible though.
@157Gale I’m optimistic about this season but the OL and the secondary (especially safety and nickel) probably limit this team’s ceiling more than most including me would like to admit.
QB obviously a big question too but competence (or more) is well within the range of outcomes there.
Haiti doesn’t look the part of the second worst team here. They’ve got tons of pace and some quality in the midfield and on the wings.
Not sure their defense holds up against a world-class attack and they’ve lacked that crucial final ball. But they’ve exceeded my expectations.
@YanksAreComing I agree with you. But to be fair I think he was complaining about the youth system which definitely needs an overhaul as opposed to guys who aren’t “American.”
At least that’s how I read it. Maybe I’m wrong.
That was BY far the best 45 minutes I’ve ever seen the USMNT play in the first half. Then to close with that beautiful goal makes it EASILY the best 90 I’ve ever seen from them.
I don’t know if I should but I’m starting to believe.
@BRFCJohn There are just so many options and people gravitate towards more soccer focused bars. I used to live in New Orleans and love soccer. I guaranty you Finn McCool’s has had a line around the block for hours
Somebody explain to me like I’m 12. Why do all of these mock trades have Boston basically trading JB for Giannis (not equal in player or contract value) while the Hawks pay almost the whole Giannis price for JB?
@ZachLangleyNBA Getting Brown is more of a win now/soon pick so I wouldn’t blink at moving the NOP/MIL next year. I’d be okay with moving either Risacher or this year’s number 8 too, but all 3 feels really steep considering the size of JB’s deal.
@CFB_Pat If you’re able to get enough talent in the door via high school recruits who are bought in and you can develop that talent, then this is still the way IMO.
Buy-in and continuity beats comparable talent that is portal heavy 9/10 times. Talent does have to be comparable though.
@Hightop_Dave@BrooksAustinBA As a lawyer, I’m all too familiar lol. This is also the part where the judge interjects with: “Okay, and what does this have to do with him playing football?”
@Hightop_Dave@BrooksAustinBA What’s hilarious is the implication that apparently they can only help him by letting him play in football games for them.
Nobody is stopping them from having him enrolled in their school and helping him with a mental health issue.
@BOGBackup1@TomEwart4 Sometimes it’s cheaper to build things from scratch than it is to renovate and add on to existing things. For example it costs money to gut the concourses and remove the old building materials. Then you have to pay for the price of building them.
@Jaws960608 What’s going to save him a bit is that the offense still wouldn’t have taken the lead even if Caden could have put up zeros for the entire rest of the game.
Criticize Sully all you want, not like he hasn’t earned it, but Troy already had 2 runs when Caden was pulled and the offense still hasn’t topped that so hard to say that decision cost us the game.
