When we say 5 fewer campaign squads, we effectively mean there will be roughly 5 more weeks throughout the year that do not feature a squad in packs (aka, not Friday team release).

I say roughly because we’re still working through the exact plan, so that number could shift by a couple of weeks in either direction.

Of course, in those "non-campaign weeks", there will still be things to do during those weeks, such as SBCs, OBJs, Evos, Live Events, etc.

For example, we could have a Gallery highlight week where we release a set of OBJs that reward players for achieving certain grades across different Gallery Sets and that becomes the focus for the week instead of a new campaign squad.
