Some of the Year 8 students who enjoyed a cultural visit to Poole Lighthouse today to watch a lively, funny new adaptation of Little Women. Not only did they enjoy the story, but they were also amazed at the effects - trees, smoke and snow, indoors!
Year 3 had some strange deliveries under their chairs today…✉️
Each child was assigned a feature of a village, town or city to create a Tri-Rama as part of our year-group city; Fin and Flipper City.
Children created: universities, homes, shops and stations of all kinds.
Year 11, starting the day with some focused revision in Learning Labs. This English group had talked about explicit and implicit information and moved on to revising how to reference a text.
The secondary students are having a great time at Art enrichment club! They've been busy creating all sorts of wonderful artwork, and their creativity is really shining through.
Our KS2 school councillors were invited to Weymouth Train Station on Friday morning to be presented with a plaque for our dedication to delivering rail safety education 🚂 ⭐

Students from Y5, 6 and 10 who have been working on their ‘Beetle Boy’ reading project with @DorsetCouncilUK went to @bournemouthuni to officially graduate on Monday. Congratulations to all our amazing students for all their hard work on improving reading.

Year 2 kick-started their new topic with a day dedicated to people who have changed the world. We had everyone from Albert Einstein, Neil Armstrong, Anne Boleyn and Emmeline Pankhurst 🌎
As part of our PSHE curriculum, KS1 enjoy weekly circle times to discuss and share views on a variety of topics. Today Year 2 took theirs outside and discussed how to show good manners in the dining hall 🍽️☀️
