@UFStudent2 @qq_noo @ElliscbIV FWIW Maine was settled by colonists and was part of Massachusetts, outside of the far eastern panhandle of WV basically nobody lived there but squatters. Also Vermont is the last state that should be on the 13 colonies list.

@eatmychuddies @MatthewWielicki That's why it's climate change instead of global warming. Things change in different ways in different areas at different paces. Specifically here in the DC area, most of our warming comes from overnight lows increasing due to higher humidity.

@eatmychuddies @MatthewWielicki Annual max temperature is a horrible measure for DC's climate. Humidity is increasing in this area which makes it harder for us to get the hottest days in the summer. Humid air heats up much less efficiently than dry air.

2. some acs are really cheap or if not refer to number 1 again.
3. If all public spaces have ACs this isn't a problem.
4. With AC you have a place of refuge at the end of the day to recover.
