@MuttfordOne11@DepthCarl@McClureShawn Study more religions. Claiming Christianity is the only truth is like claiming physics is only based on one scientific research paper. Very short-sighted
@DepthCarl@McClureShawn I think its clear from his work with active imagination that you arrive at it by working around (outside of) consciousness. But the integration and persistence of the experience does require conscious effort.
@DepthCarl@McClureShawn Surely the religious attitude is important. But first it must coexist with the rational functions (as there is no other choice). And a religious attitude is miles away from religion. Not super familiar with bobs music, maybe it does portray that distinction 👌
@CommonplaceThe@MikhailaFuller Being pseudoscientific is simply not conforming to a method that is known to be flawed. Not really an insult, more of a distinction. Jung was both extremely scientific and non-scienctific. Science has profound problems, dont be afraid to question it
@DepthCarl@McClureShawn Jung would not argue that one must consciously profess a faith in God in order to produce good music. Rather, one must engage in a religious process. But that is far from being religious or belief in a God
@CodeOfPets @Pizzazz10971381 @RyLiberty Yeah he sent millions to concentration camps instead. They're not comparable. Have you ever read a book? Did you graduate the 6th grade?
@fantaboykado @RyLiberty Please explain your logic. You realize one orchestrated the mass killing of millions? And the other was a mid president? They ain't the same 🤔
@GreekVikingX@sorceressofmath@pinkheretic Faith doesn't have to distinguish between the two. Rather it can be a product of the truth. Or a consequence of the truth. Thus faith can lead one to engage with that truth. This is mainly on a psychological level.
@GreekVikingX@sorceressofmath@pinkheretic I think faith has a place in ascertaining certain psychological truths. As once we engage with the unconscious mind, empirical, materialist, and rational assumptions dissolve.
@yesitsmikebrown@pinkheretic Not necessarily. One could simply be disinterested in the reasoning behind it. As many are. In fact, most of your beliefs are rooted in faith rather than analysis of merit.
@NoHolyScripture It goes deeper than just the surface. This passage is brilliant, but a deeper study of the subject is necessary to discover its true meaning
